Postman Pat is an old school-style, stop-motion animated children’s television series from Britain that first aired on BBC1 in 1981.

The main character of the series is Pat Clifton, a country postal worker who drives a bright red van, and it’s this vehicle that inspired the creation of a closed-top kart racer.

The Lilliputian four-wheeler, which is said to be powered by a “500cc (0.5-liters) big single cylinder 4-stroke engine”, recently hit the York Raceway in East Yorkshire, England, where it recorded a quarter mile run in 17.4190 seconds with an exit speed of 84.28 mph (135.6 km/h).
