We already saw Lamborghini's new offerings for its 2013 model year Gallardo coupe range at the Paris Motor Show, and now, the Santa'Agata Bolognese carmaker has gone ahead and introduced the Spyder variants of its 'baby' supercar series.
Not the least bit surprising, the same changes and updates made to the coupe models apply to the topless version.
This means that the base Gallardo LP560-4 Spyder went under the knife gaining a more angular new front and rear fascia, with Lamborghini widening the air outlet for the power unit at the rear to improve the heat expulsion from the V10 unit, which continues to produce 553hp (560PS) and 540 Nm (397 lb-ft) of peak torque.
Wrapping up the changes on the convertible model are the newly designed 19-inch “Apollo polished” alloy wheels, while it is likely that Lamborghini will offer the same Style Package it does on the revamped coupe.
The red Gallardo Spyder with the black accents and stripes you see in the photo gallery is the new Edizione Tecnica version of the Performante edition.
Just like the 2013 Gallardo LP570-4 Superleggera Edizione Tecnica, while keeping the same bumpers and fascias as before, the Spyder variant gains an assortment of parts, including a fixed rear wing, standard ceramic brakes and bespoke color schemes.
Both the 2013 Gallardo coupe and Spyder models are scheduled to go on sale in November this year.

Kind of a let down, just looks like a body kit.
That rear end is just plain ugly!.
How has Lambo managed the convertible look WORSE than the coupe? AND THAT BACK!!!!!
Lambo's running out of ideas for facelifts for the Gallardo. This is the wakeup call to replace the model. Urgently. Actually, they should have done it a few years ago so it´s already overdue. Well, i'm anxious to see what they are cooking for the replacement. Till then Lamborghini keep calm and don't ruin what was a beautiful design from the start.
I like the way these look, more than I like most Lamborghinis
Thanks for posting this. Today I watched National Geographic documentary film on the making of the Lamborghini Murcielago LP670-4 SV titled 'Ultimate Factories: Lamborghini'. I recommend you to watch this, if you did n't watch yet.
