As much as we tried, there’s no other way to put it; the Gulf Lotus X12 is simply one of the most garish looking SUVs we’ve ever laid eyes on.
While we found many elements from other vehicles, ranging from the BMW-sourced tail lamps, and –inspired boot design, to the Hamann EVO-like vented bonnet and the Hummer or Toyota FJ Cruiser-shaped windshield and front roof styling, we weren’t able to decode what car has been sacrificed to offer its platform for the customized body.
For what it’s worth, the Gulf Lotus X12 has been spotted several times in the United Arab Emirates, including at last year’s Middle East Motor Tuning Show held at the Sharjah Expo Center.
