Dacia’s foray into the small SUV segment with the affordable Duster has proven successful, but the Renault Group-owned Romanian brand refuses to rest on its laurels and is working on a light facelift, which could be revealed as early as this fall at the Frankfurt Motor Show or alternatively, at next year’s Geneva Salon in March.

From what we can tell by looking at these spy shots, the exterior makeover will be limited to the front and rear ends with freshly styled lights, a new grille, small changes to the bumpers and possibly, a redesigned tailgate.

However, there’s always the chance that this is an early prototype, meaning Dacia may be preparing a more substantial facelift, though, don’t expect it to look anything as cool as this Duster from DC Design .

Given that the dashboard of the test car was covered, we could see some interior revisions as well, with Dacia bringing the Duster’s cabin more in line with its newer offerings like the Sandero, Logan and Lodgy minivan.
