While press drives of the potent Alfa Romeo Giulia QV have yet to commence, the high-performance Italian sedan has already created unheard levels of hype in this market – and for good reason.

In Luxembourg recently, a particularly stunning dark blue example rolled into a local dealership offering those around it the chance to hear the advanced twin-turbo V6 up close and personal.

Tuned to pump out 510 hp, enough to send the Giulia QV around the Nurburgring in 7:43, the car certainly sounds good for a V6 using forced induction so heavily.

While it sounds good, one rather strange thing we noticed from this video is that on the cold morning, only steam was coming out of the two inner most exhaust pipes, perhaps indicating that the two outer ones are fake. It wouldn’t be a first time for a pre-production model to have false pipes.

Whatever the case may be, we should find out soon enough.
