An Italian two-door machine to go BMW 4-Series Coupe and Mercedes-Benz C-Class Coupe hunting would be more than welcome.

Based on the same rear-wheel drive platform as the Giulia and sharing most of its exterior design, the rendering was envisioned by Renna Design with longer front doors and the inevitable move of the B-pillar towards the rear.

For the moment, Alfa Romeo hasn’t announced any plans to put a two-door version into production. In fact, they haven’t even started selling the sedan yet.

Since the four-door is aimed towards a very competitive segment that offers similar rides from manufacturers like Audi, Jaguar and Cadillac, on top of the aforementioned “usual suspects”, it would not be a bad idea to see Giulia coupe on the road.

FCA management will want to wait and see if their new saloon is going to be a success before they give the green light, though, and the Stelvio SUV has priority anyway, so we wouldn’t bet on it.
