Norwegian Cruise Line’s newest addition will be the first-ever cruise ship customized for the Chinese market, where it will make its home port.

Dubbed the ‘Norwegian Joy’, it will offer a boat-load (pun intended) of luxury experiences, including a virtual reality experience inside the Galaxy Pavilion, hovering bumper cars and other immersive rides.

However, what really drew us in is the fact that they’ve built a two-level kart track on the deck, which is an absolute first for a cruise ship. It’s this type of initiative that has us wondering why nobody else thought about doing it before.

The Norwegian Joy is set to debut in 2017 which will probably be the year when passengers will prefer to stay on the ship rather than visit whichever destination they’ve docked at.
