Posh dealership HR Owen will host the latest Ghost and Wraith editions at its London showroom this summer.

The Rolls-Royce Black Badge models are sporting “the deepest, darkest and most intense black ever seen on a car surface”, and they don’t look half bad for that.

They are designed to appeal to customers who want their luxury cars to be “darker” and more assertive, so even the iconic “Flying Lady” is now somewhat of a high-gloss black vamp.

“London is a young, modern and at times edgy city, which makes it the perfect place to come and see the new Rolls-Royce Black Badge series, which takes a completely different approach to any of its forebears,” said Claus Andersen, RR Motor Cars London brand director.

“The team at Rolls-Royce Motor Cars London are perfectly placed to talk the public through everything that is new on the Black Badge range, and to discuss any more bespoke requirements that customers might be looking for.”

Those sinister looks are complemented by an uprated 6.6-liter V12 that in the Wraith the the same output at 624hp (632PS) but has gained an additional 70Nm (52 lb-ft) of torque for a total of 870Nm (642 lb-ft), and the Ghost being pumped up 40hp and 60Nm (44 lb-ft). Both sport a faster-shifting eight-speed auto transmission and retuned air suspension to go along with their sportier character.
