Jon Olsson Tries To Take His Lamborghini Murcielago Up A Mountain [w/Video]

Sometimes, bringing a DTM-inspired, 1000 HP Audi RS6 to a 3000-mile race or being a professional free-skier just doesn’t cut it. Therefore, Jon Olsson decided to take his heavily modified Lamborghini Murcielago on top of a mountain.

But don’t think for a second it was an easy task, as the athlete struggled for the better part of two weeks to brainstorm a way to get the car up the slope. Unfortunately, his efforts were in vain, but the man gladly shared his experience in an awesome video – with the promise he would come back to challenge nature itself again, when it snows.

After converting the AWD raging bull to a rear-wheel-drive layout and sticking some spikes in the extremely wide tires, Olsson took in the (presumably) modified 6.5-litre V12 Murcie on Norway’s west coast to hoon it. But he quickly found out a supercar doesn’t cope that well in the snow – a lesson taught to us by Red Bull’s Ferrari F40 stunt – even if it’s been equipped with heavy duty tire spikes.

Okay, the Lambo’s weight didn’t help much either, but in the end at least Olsson got to the…middle of the ski track. Far from his initial plan, but at least the adventure made for some nice pictures.
