The latest limited edition of the Mazda2 is named the Red Edition and will be available exclusively in the UK in just 400 units.

The 2 Red Edition comes with some extra design touches like the Soul Red accents on wing mirrors, rear spoiler and rear underskirt paired with generous levels of standard equipment.

It’s available in two paint options, Snowflake White Pearlescent or Black Mica, and with a cabin dressed with a red cloth upholstery, matching door cards and a red and white panel on the dashboard. Customers will also get the option of 15-inch gunmetal alloys for a sportier look.

Powered exclusively by a 89hp 1.5-litre Skyactiv-G petrol engine paired to a five-speed gearbox, the 2 Red Edition can accelerate from a standstill to 62mph (100km/h) in 9.4 seconds, with CO2 emissions rated at 105g/km.
