Restricted to just 100 units worldwide, the Aventador LP720-4 50th Anniversario Roadster is exactly six times rarer and more exclusive than the SV Roadster, the most potent Aventador made so far.

As a result, seeing one on the street is a very rare sight. A particularly stunning matte purple example hit the tarmac in Cannes, France, and sent heads spinning and jaws dropping.

Beyond the purple paint, the car stands out thanks to its selection of black elements such as the front splitter, side skirts, rear fascia, wing mirrors and removable hardtop. It also includes blacked-out wheels and a sleek set of silver brake calipers.

Helping to make the car all the more impressive is its aftermarket exhaust system sourced from the specialists at Capristo. While the 6.5-liter V12 of the Aventador doesn’t need to be made any louder, the exhaust of this example certainly makes it all that more special.
