The Renault Magnum was placed on gearheads’ radars by Jeremy Clarkson, who took it out on the Top Gear test track a few years ago, accompanied by his two colleagues in a special challenge.

However, this isn’t the Magnum, but its successor, the Renault Trucks T High, which has become a tad more interesting with the addition of the High Edition.

It features black paintwork, red accents, aluminum wheels, roof-mounted deflectors, opening side deflectors, and it’s equipped with the Protect Pack, which adds the Xenon headlights, additional indicator lights and adaptive cruise control.

Inside, truckers are welcomed by more red accents, ‘High Edition’ embossed leather upholstery, leather wrapped steering wheel and armrests, carbon trim, red lights “for maximum comfort when driving at night”, as the automaker explains, and soft lighting from the spotlights that stretch along the passageways when the driver is resting.

As for the engine that sets this truck in motion, it is a 12.8-liter 6-cylinder diesel engine with common rail injection system, fitted with the Fuel Eco+ pack with Optivision for optimal fuel consumption, that produces no less than 520 horsepower.
