The annual Los Angeles Auto Show is here offering up more than 50 new production and concept models, while also serving as a meeting place for the auto-tech industry.
In a sign of the times, this year’s event is merging of the traditional automotive press days with the Connected Car Expo (CCE), resulting in a four-day trade show from November 14-17, dubbed “AutoMobility LA” for media and industry professionals, followed by a more conventional public show from November 18-27.
Automakers from around the world will be showing off their new rides at the Los Angeles Convention Center, some for the first time anywhere, and others, as North American debuts.
Among the global premieres coming to LA are Alfa Romeo’s SUV, Chevy’s 2018 Equinox, Honda’s turbocharged Civic Si sports compact, and a Subaru concept said to uncover a new line of vehicles for the brand. North American debuts include Mercedes-AMG’s GT Roadster and Porsche’s second-generation Panamera in new body and engine variants.
