Dig Porsches? A 911 Turbo will get you where you’re going in a hurry, and put a big smile on your face in the process. But if you’re looking for the truly exotic from Zuffenhausen, Milan will be the place to be later this month for RM Sotheby’s Duemila Ruote sale.

Among the hundreds upon hundreds of vehicles the auction house has consigned for its year-end event are a Porsche 959 and a Carrera GT. And with no reserve price on either, they’ll be going home with the highest bidder.

The 959 is a Komfort model that was delivered new in Italy back in 1988. Decked out in silver with a black interior, it has little over 18,000 miles on the odometer and remains in highly original condition – including its original engine: a 2.8-liter twin-turbo flat six rated at 450 horsepower.

The Carrera GT, meanwhile, is a 2005 model in metallic black with Terracotta leather. It has less than 4,700 miles on the clock and looks positively stunning. With a 5.7-liter V10 good for 605 horsepower, you’re not bound to see it sitting still for long.

Both are estimated to fetch around €700k. Throw in a 911 GT1 and a 918 Spyder and you’d have one heck of a Porsche supercar collection going. But if those strike you as too rich for your blood, there’s another 70 Porsches on offer at the same event, including five 356s, a handful of transaxle models, and several dozen 911s of varying vintage.
