When developing the latest Ford Focus RS, the automaker deliberately calibrated its exhaust system to crackle and pop mimicking the finest rally cars.

While it can be addictive, the standard exhaust doesn’t fully replicate the sound of a rally car but German tuning company HG Motorsport has managed to close the gap between road and rally car with its Focus RS exhaust.

The most obvious visual difference between this exhaust and the standard one is that it has titanium tips with a blue finish look distinctly race-ready. Beyond the tips, the entire exhaust is new and it now burbles far more ferociously than standard, making the potent hot hatch a true hoonigan.

If you can’t be a professional rally driver, this is perhaps the next best alternative.
