Whether you love or hate the new Alfa Romeo Giulia Quadrifoglio, there’s no denying that this four-door saloon is really, really fast.

Helped by a twin-turbo 2.9-litre V6 engine, the most exciting modern Alfa Romeo offers 503hp and 600Nm (442 lb ft) of peak torque and a 0-62mph in 3.9 seconds. Unlike its German rivals, the range-topping Giulia doesn’t feature any of those stupid top speed limiters, allowing it to accelerate until it hits 190mph (305km/h).

Add to that a perfectly balanced chassis and the best power-to-weight ratio in the segment and it’s no wonder that the Alfa Romeo Giulia Quadrifoglio is already considered one of the greatest cars of the year.

Bringing one example to an unrestricted part of the German Autobahn sounds like a hell of an opportunity to shoot a POV-style video and that’s exactly what the guys behind the ‘Cars on Autobahn’ YouTube channel did.

So sit back, put the video in full screen and watch that Alfa accelerate ferociously towards 186mph (300km/h).
