Over the years and decades it remained in production and even after, VW’s original Beetle has seen more tuning jobs and customizations than you can shake a stick at. While not as near as popular, there are plenty of tuning offerings for the Bug’s (spiritual) successors, like this latest proposition from MR Car Design.

The highlight of the tune for the VW Beetle Mk2 (from 2011 and onwards) is, of course, the slammed down body that comes courtesy of a fully electronic G-Ride air suspension on both axles, which is adjustable by remote control or fully automatically.

Completing the look are new 19-inch alloy wheels in tires size 225/35-19 on all four corners, the elimination of the rear badges, pink tinted fog lights, and smoked head- and tail-lamps.

For the 2.0-liter turbo diesel engine, the German tuning outfit offers an ECU upgrade boosting power to 207hp (210PS) and peak torque to 420Nm (310 lb-ft), plus a sports exhaust system.
