Japan’s love affair with limited edition BMWs has been further strengthened with the arrival of this 4 Series Gran Coupe.

The limited edition model is named “In Style” and style is what the Germans (or, more precisely, BMWs Japanese division) had in mind when they announced this latest, and very exclusive, 4 Series.

Based on a 420i with M Sport goodies, the automobile was garnished with extra equipment to highlight its elegance and sophistication – as the car maker says.

Only a total of 200 units will be made and spread throughout the country’s dealerships, and with each one costing the equivalent of $52,532, the a 2.0-litre, inline four, 4-series brimmed with equipment (and probably a limited edition plaque) doesn’t make for a bad offer.

As far as styling goes, the 4 Series received 19-inch alloy wheels that feature a two-tone satin look, colored windows, and Mineral Grey body hue. However, the interior is the car’s strong point, where the Dakota Leather upholstery, Ansorajitto Wood interior trim, and pearl gloss chrome highlights clash into a mix of style, luxury and sportiness.

Complementing the modern, high-tech look are lots and lots of technological goodies implemented to aid the driver in driving and comfort, including Adaptive LED headlights, BMW Head-Up Display, and Lane Change Warning
