Headlining Chrysler’s presence at this year’s Detroit Motor Show will be the all-new Town & Country minivan, with the automaker beginning the countdown through a string of teasers.

We only get bits and pieces of the car, including crops of one of the air vents on the leather-padded dashboard and the front and rear lights.

There’s probably a bit more value in the photo captions that read: “We didn’t just change the tide, we completely redesigned it,” “We’re crossing lines to reimagine an original” and “Reinvent the lens of perception”. And well, you get the idea where Chrysler is going with this.

Expected to have a similar footprint to today’s model, the new Town & Country will come with numerous new or updated features such USB ports in all three rows, foot-activated sliding rear doors, all-wheel drive and a nine-speed automatic transmission that should be connected to the latest version of the 3.6L Pentastar V6. A plug-in hybrid model should be added to the range within a year of launch.
