Earlier in the year, Porsche ceased production of the 918 Spyder, so it is no longer possible to configure and order a brand new one.

Even though it is officially disapproved by the carmakers, buying a highly sought-after hypercar to sell it immediately for a profit is common practice.

The 918 Spyder is no exception. There are some individuals and dealerships around the world looking to cash in on the demand by listing them for sale at massive premiums. The following gloss black example in Cologne, Germany is one of them.

Advertised on James Edition, this 918 is being sold through Amian Cars, one of the very best exotic car dealerships in the world. As the car in question it is essentially brand new and would be the absolute perfect addition to any Porsche collection.

The asking price for this 2015 model with just 932 miles on the odo is 1.48 million euros ($1.6 million), more than double what it cost its first owner.

Painted in a refined shade of black instead of some of the wild liveries offered as options, it isn’t as flashy but, at the same time, it will never go out of fashion. Alongside the black paint, it features the 918’s standard silver and black wheels, green brake calipers and an interior combining black leather with acid green stitching and piping.
