To celebrate its British heritage, Jaguar has introduced a special version of the F-Type sports car appropriately dubbed the British Design Edition.

The Jaguar F-Type British Design Edition is based around the mid-range F-Type S model which utilities a supercharged 3.0-liter V6 engine. It pumps out the same 375 hp and 339 lb-ft of torque as the regular F-Type S and then coupled with an eight-speed ZF Quickshift automatic transmission driving all four wheels. However, a six-speed manual is also offered.

One of the key points of difference of the British Design Edition is that it is finished in a bright shade of blue previously unavailable across the F-Type range. Additionally, the special model receives the company’s Exterior Sport Design Pack. It includes a modified front end with an extended splitter, a set of new side skirts and colour-matched rear diffuser.

Elsewhere, the car receives the so-called ‘Super Performance Braking System’ which adds the brakes of the F-Type R and a set of grey 20-inch alloy wheels with red brake calipers. Inside, the car receives new leather offered in red, ivory or blue.

The F-Type British Design Edition will be available globally and priced from 75,225 GBP for the coupe and 80,390 GBP for the convertible in its home market.
