FCA’s chief designer Ralph Gilles has posted an image on Instagram that shows part of a future Alfa Romeo model.

The dashboard’s familiar layout makes us think of a possible Giulia’s estate version, a plausible explanation for, first, it’s supposed to be launched in mid-2016 and, second, like its predecessor, the 159, it won’t be offered solely as a saloon.

Another guesstimate is that Alfa is teasing its long-awaited SUV, which will be reportedly .

In any case, one thing is certain: 2016 will be a a busy year for Italian firm. Since we’re just a week away from the North American International Auto Show, in Detroit, and three months from the Geneva Motor Show, perhaps we won’t have to wait too long to find out what Alfa has in store.
