Before we get on the man’s case for worrying about what cars to drive in the midst of the NFL Playoffs, to be fair this picture was posted when the regular season wasn’t quite over yet.
Earl Thomas III is a former All-American and current member of Seattle’s ‘Legion of Boom’, which is an appropriate way to call that extremely tough defense which was ranked number 1 in the NFL last year and was also arguably the best this year as well.
Thomas currently has a multi-million dollar contract with the Seahawks, worth $40 million over the span of four years – making him the league’s highest-paid Free Safety.
It’s that kind of money that allows somebody to purchase what would be a $200,000 car like you or I were buying a slightly overpriced but still accessible item like a new TV or a laptop. And of course, the Bentley Continental GT is an extremely popular car with professional athletes and celebrities around the world – you don’t need to be playing in the Premier League to be associated with one of these luxurious coupes.
However, we can make out the fact that Earl’s Continental GT is a slightly older and not a 2016 model. This means he didn’t pay retail for it, but it’s still a heck of an investment and of course, a very respectable ride.
If you guys are fans of Seattle’s exceptional defense which is calibrated perfectly to keep opposing players from rushing into the end zone, make sure to tune in for the 2015 NFL Playoffs. The Seahawks have already dispatched Minnesota in the Wild-Card Round (a very lucky win), and are set to face the Carolina Panthers in what should be an extremely spectacular game.
