BMW’s most discussed model of the past few months, the new M2 Coupe that will formally debut in Detroit next week, returns to our attention through a fresh set of images.
The high-performance car with the German license plates offers us our best look at the Alpine White color version and it joins the previous images with a similarly-finished example, spotted in late November. Besides this shade, it will be offered in Mineral Grey, Sapphire Black and Long Beach Blue.
There aren’t many personalization options for the interior either, as all M2s will get blue contrast stitching on leather surfaces.
As a quick reminder, the new M2 needs 4.5 seconds to reach 100km/h (62mph) with the manual gearbox, and 4.3 seconds with the optional 7-speed dual clutch transmission. US pricing hasn’t been disclosed yet, but in the UK, it will start from £44,070 (equal to $64,700 at today’s exchange rates).
