With the Superb already making waves as a strong competitor within its segment, it seems credible that it will lend a helping hand to its sub-compact sibling.

In 2015, the Fabia broke through as a middle of the pack in Europe as far as sales were concerned, edging out rivals such as the Dacia Sandero, Citroen C3, Seat Ibiza and Hyundai i20.

At the same time, it falld behind the Yaris and trailing the likes of the Peugeot 208, Opel Corsa, VW Polo, Renault Clio and Ford Fiesta by a wide margin, so freshening it up a little could boost its appeal.

This rendering is pretty much identical to what the Fabia currently looks like, with the slightest of differences regarding the Superb-infuenced headlights and grille that, naturally, were shrunk to fit the smaller car’s dimensions.
