Nissan announced the availability of a special Midnight package exclusively for the 2016 Maxima SR models.

The package consists of sporty body trims painted black, including a spoiler, a rear diffuser and set of 19-inch alloy wheels while the cabin gains Charcoal premium leather upholstery with Alcantara details.

The 2016 Nissan Maxima SR Midnight Edition is available in five exterior colors –Super Black, Pearl White, Brilliant Silver, Coulis Red and Deep Blue Pearl.

“Customer response to our limited production Maxima ‘Midnight’ accessories package last summer was so strong, we’ve now made it a factory installed option – and we’re launching it at a $1,000 discount versus what it would cost to order and install the features individually,” said Dan Mohnke, vice president, Nissan Chief Marketing Manager & Marketing Operations.

The Midnight pack is priced at $1,195 over the Nissan Maxima SR’s $37,770 starting price.
