For the first time in its 50 year history, the Mustang is available in Europe and many enthusiasts, including the guys over at Car Throttle, are delighted.

Being handed the keys to a bright yellow Mustang to complement their recent Focus RS review, they had the “tedious” job of driving the American muscle car both on the street and on the racetrack to see if it lives up to the bang-for-your-buck hype.

Priced at just over 32,000 punds in the UK, the Mustang GT is about 15,000 pounds cheaper than a BMW M4 yet manages to provide similar performance thanks to its thumping 5.0-liter V8 engine delivering 410 hp and 386 lb-ft of torque.

The sixth-generation Mustang is certainly fast then. The question is if it can offer driving thrills to really match its the stiff competition and make the buying list of what is arguably the world’s most difficult car buyers.
