Ford Revealing Expanded Vignale Lineup In Geneva

Ford has announced that at next week’s 2016 Geneva Motor Show, it will display a number of new models adorned with its premium Vignale badge.

The American automaker only has one Vignale model in its range, in the form of the range-topping Mondeo, but at Geneva, it will be expanded by at at least two others.

While it isn’t known which cars will be added to the luxurious portfolio, the company has said that its show stand will be dedicated to an extended Vignale lineup on March 1 before being joined by a number of Ford Performance models and the brand new Kuga the following day.

In times gone by, Vignale was actually an Italian coachbuilder but was bought out by Ford and added to its stable of companies. Unlike the Ghia name, which is used to denote high-end trim levels, Vignale also includes a number of special services including 24-hour phone assistance.
