Not long after a number of patented images leaked online, Lamborghini has teased its new Centenario hypercar that’s due for the 2016 Geneva Motor Show.

While the Italian brand is coy about the new model, reports indicate it will be introduced to celebrate the 100th anniversary of Ferrucio Lamborghini’s birth.

The Centenario will be based on the Aventador and be powered by the same 6.5-liter V12 engine as the Aventador SV. However, power is expected to rise from 750 hp to 770 hp, meaning the car should be Lamborghini’s fastest ever production car.

As with other limited-run Lambos, this latest model will adopt a bespoke design ensuring it stands out and include custom body panels and restyled headlights and taillights. Those who have already seen it say that its styling isn’t as extreme as the Veneno or Sesto Elemento, but more beautiful and refined.
