Mercedes-Benz Dealers To Sell MV Agusta Bikes

As Mercedes-AMG pushes forward in its attempts to indirectly crack into the motorcycle market, it’s been revealed that a number of Mercedes dealerships in Europe will begin display and selling MV Agusta bikes.

The German carmaker purchased a 25 per cent stake in MV Agusta in 2014 after Ducati was purchased by Audi, entering the world of high-performance motorbikes.

Given that rival BMW produces its own bikes, it didn’t come as a surprise that Mercedes wanted to join in the action.

During a recent press conference about the Brutale 800, the firm’s president Giovanni Castiglioni said that 127 Mercedes dealerships throughout Europe will begin displaying MV Agusta bikes.

Given that MV Agusta isn’t as well known to the general public as Ducati or BMW Motorrad, a close collaboration with Mercedes well help increase its exposure. This will be furthered by the launch of the limited-run MV Agusta F3 800 that will brandish the same Solar Beam paint as the Mercedes-AMG GT.
