With the Geneva show in mind and the open road in front, the new Jaguar F-Type SVR made its video debut.

The firm’s range-topper sports car features numerous aerodynamic upgrades over the standard model, which include a new front splitter, redesigned air inlets, larger rear diffuser and a bigger wing, which covers the entire rear-width, reducing lift by up to 80 percent.

Suspension was stiffened, with lighter and wider wheels, covering the carbon ceramic brakes. A tTitanium exhaust is also featured on the vehicle and the interior was reworked by SVR, with quilted leather, different steering wheel and aluminum shift panels.

Compared to the standard F-Type, the SVR is lighter and needs just 3.5seconds to go from naught to 60mph (96km/h), with a 200mph (320km/h) top speed for the coupe and 195mph (313km/h) for the convertible. Underneath its vented bonnet there is a supercharged 5.0liter V8, upgraded from the one of the V8 S and R variations to 567hp (575PS) and 516lb-ft (700Nm) of torque.

For the coupe, prospective US buyers will have to pay $126,945, while the convertible will set them back for $129,795.
