Not only that, but the Cup Racer will be continuously developed in many details throughout the season – thus ensuring for a more captivating motorsport experience.

The improved, second variant of the SEAT Leon Cup Racer TCR, will sport a sequential gearbox (instead of the DSG variant), as it’s equipped and optimized for endurance racing, as Dr. Matthias Rabe, Vice President of SEAT S.A. for Research and Development mentions:

“Customer sport is incredibly important to us. The CUP RACER has been an exceptionally high-performance and successful race car from day one. Nevertheless, we have systematically developed it for this season to make it even faster. And with the TCR version, we are now also offering a vehicle optimised for endurance racing.”

“We are looking forward to the new season. Seeing and hearing the enthusiastic SEAT fans at the track is always a fantastic experience. And we will once again be offering them some amazing and thrilling racing”, he concluded.

This racing machine can be ordered form SEAT Sport in DSG guise for €85,000 ($94,680), or with the TCR sequential form for €110,000 ($122,557).
