Infiniti announced pricing for the first two of the four available engine options in the 2016 Q50.

The new Infiniti Q50 enters the 2016 model year with significant new additions to its range, including three new turbocharged engines.

The entry-level Infiniti Q50 uses a 2.0-liter four-cylinder turbocharged unit co-developed with Daimler and is rated at 208hp and 258 lb-ft of torque. Fuel economy for the Q50 2.0t RWD is rated at 23 mpg city, 31 mpg highway and 26 mpg combined.

The Q50 Hybrid Premium uses the same petrol-electric drivetrain from last year, combining a 3.5-liter V6 unit with 302hp and 258 lb-ft of torque and an electric motor with 67hp and 214 lb-ft of torque. The combined output is set at 360hp.

Pricing starts from $33,950 for the Q50 2.0T and $47,050 for the Q50 Hybrid Premium. Every version now also comes with the choice of rear-wheel drive or all-wheel drive. Pricing for the range-topping 400hp twin-turbo models will follow on a later date.
