Dacia’s compact crossover has gained a special version, which introduces a new series of limited-editions for the Logan, Logan MCV, Sandero, Dokker and Lodgy.

Called the Duster Essential, it sports a new body color, Tourmaline Brown, along with specific badging, body-colored bumpers and a new set of alloy wheels.

Inside, passengers will get to enjoy Bluetooth and USB connectivity, along by the electric front windows and central locking.

Dacia will introduce its new series of limited editions in include Austria, Belgium, Croatia, the Czech Republic, Denmark, Germany, Hungary, Italy, Luxemburg, the Netherlands, Poland, Portugal, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland and the United Kingdom. Full details are yet to be announced.

Joining the Duster Essential in Geneva is the Easy-R automated transmission, launched at the end of 2015 and mated to the TCe 90 gasoline stop/start engine, which can be now specified for the dCi 90 diesel versions of the Logan, Logan MCV, Sandero and Sandero Stepway, depending on the market, for the same price.

The Easy-R gearbox has six forward gears and it is “calibrated to optimize everyday driving enjoyment, especially in congested traffic and urban areas“, as the company states. Fuel consumption on vehicles equipped with the automatic is said to be comparable with that of a manual.
