Four-Door Jaguar F-Type Is One Sleek Sedan

With the updated XF, XJ and all-new XE, the British luxury brand has three attractive premium sedans in its stable but could it do with a fourth?

No, it won’t happen, Rain Prisk Designs nevertheless decided to render such a model based around the stunning F-Type.

The model pictured features front and rear ends essentially identical to the coupe but thanks to an extended roofline and wasteline, now accommodates two rear doors.

Jaguar’s latest sports car is alluding to iconic E-Type and is offered in a number of guises in both coupe and convertible configurations. A saloon, though, is definitely not on the cards.

Here’s a thought, though: Nissan is apparently considering a four-door GT-R, so Jaguar, what do you say to a four-door F-Type?

Just do it! Merc has had some success with the CLS.

    • Andrewthecarguy

They won’t unfortunately. I see this going against the BMW 4 GC and the Audi A5 Sportback.

      • TheHake

        Presactly! Would have been nice!

  • Shobin Drogan

    Made for headless backseat passengers.

Brilliant idea. Either this or a two door XE or XF?

  • Bo Hanan

Wouldn’t this make the XE-R irrelevant? I think so.
It was a slow news-day and Carscoops is having a piss on us.

    • JohnCarscoop

Tell that to BMW and their 4-Series GC / 6-Series GC, to VW and their CC, to Mercedes and their CLS and the list goes on

      • Bo Hanan

It works for BMW. JAG can’t pull it off.

  • NOPE.
