In an attempt to out-match the competition when it comes to how many truck choices their customers are getting, Chevrolet has launched yet another edition.

The 2016 Silverado Rally Edition joins the Realtree and Midnight Edition. trucks, each paired with a different Chevrolet racing driver.

The new Rally Edition, which will be available later this month, got to “work with” Dale Earnhardt Jr, while Austin Dillion campaigned for the Realtree Edition, Kyle Larson for the Silverado 1500 Midnight Edition and Kasey Kahne did the same but for the Silverado 2500 Midnight Edition.

“We introduced several special editions in 2015 – each combining equipment and appearance packages designed for specific enthusiasts in mind,” said Sandor Piszar, Chevrolet truck marketing director. “They also helped make Chevrolet the fastest-growing truck brand in the industry. In 2015, total Chevrolet truck sales increased 27 percent – double the increase for the total truck market.”

“As we expand our lineup of special editions for 2016, we expect to continue that momentum,” added Piszar.

The trucks will be on location at the Chevrolet display at the Duck Commander 500 race this weekend. On Saturday, Dale Earnhardt Jr will help promote the new Rally Edition model at the stand while a fleet of Silverados will be used for the driver introduction parade.
