With a 560 PS (552 HP) twin-turbocharged V8, pushing it from standstill to 100 km/h in 3,7 seconds, the BMW M6 Gran Coupe is already a very powerful, potent, gentleman’s GT. Even so, G-Power still thought it needed a little bit of oomph.

With an expertise in tuning spanning over three decades, the German company had no problem bumping the M6’s power output to ginormous proportions, offering packages ranging from 650 PS (641 HP) all the way to 740 PS (730 HP).

True, this output is not something unheard of in this day and age, but lately, car makers and car tuners alike, throw horsepower values around like it’s nothing, even though an overpowered four-door sporty limousine is more than you can ask for.

The most modest power upgrades for the S63 V8 engine were made for as an easy installation, plug-and-play solution for customers around the world, but if somebody wants to give it the full beans, then a little more than a remap is required.

A first step is a reduction in exhaust backpressure, using gas-flow optimized steel downpipes, with (or without) 200 cell catalytic converters. This helps the plug and play remap to achieve 700 PS (690 HP) and 905 Nm of torque, but the most powerful tuning stage is reached by adding a full-length titanium exhaust system, weighing 10.5 Kg less than the standard variant, with titanium link pipes and quad tailpipes.

The result? A 740 PS (730 HP), 975 Nm machine that sprints from 0 to 200 Km/h (124mph) in 10.5 seconds, stopping from accelerating at 325 Km/h (202mph).

In charge of putting the power to the asphalt are a set of ultra-light aircraft grade aluminum, the G-POWER Hurricane RR 9.0×21-inch and 10.5×21-inch forged alloy wheels.
