A new trim level was just added by Kia to its Soul range in the United Kingdom.

Prices start at £15,500 for the entry level 1.6 GDi petrol model, which means the ‘Urban’ fits right between the ‘Connect’ and ‘Connect Plus’ versions.

The exterior styling of the Soul is enhanced by the black high gloss bumpers and rear and side sills, plus the chrome inserts which supposedly add a bit of a ‘premium’ feel.

This new trim level also gets electric folding door mirrors with integrated LED indicators, LED rear combination and high level brake lights alongside front daytime running lights and privacy glass, while rear parking sensors come as standard. All models will ride on the same 17″ alloys seen on both the Connect and the Connect Plus

Inside, you’ll find black woven seats with yellow trim, plus what Kia calls “a generous use” of soft touch materials and black gloss trim.

Customers will be able to order the Soul ‘Urban’ in one of three exterior colors – Clear White, Caribbean Blue, Inferno Red and Quartz Black, with the Clear White the only one that’s non-metallic.
