Lexus’ LX full-size SUV isn’t the kind of vehicle that requires aggressive visual enhancements to help it stand out from an already crowded niche, but Larte Design thinks otherwise.
Yes, the big SUV has gone through the German tuner’s hands and the result is an overload of optical details, created in Larte’s typical design language. Needless to say, the body kit is anything but subtle, adopting o wide array of elements from the Japanese and German street car cultures. The set comprises of new front and rear bumpers, side skirts and a choice of alloy wheels.
The front apron is available in two sizes, the bigger variant benefiting from additional spoilers and air vents framing the standard boomerang-shaped LED daytime running lights. By implementing a separate mesh with horizontal protrusions, Larte emphasizes the width of the LX, making it look more imposing.
The rear isn’t a display of restraint either, sporting the similar overlays as seen on the front bumper. There are three types of pads available, which can be also painted in different colors, and a big central brake light – looking similar to those seen at the back of F1 single-seaters.
Larte stayed away from engine mods, but a power upgrade on such a vehicle might have been pointless.
