Meet Dr. Dre’s New Custom Cadillac Escalade ESV

It seems that everyone’s favorite “Doc” wants his luxury cars tailor-made,  like this all-black Cadillac Escalade ESV that went through an appropriately big transformation.

The ESV is the longer version of the Escalade, and if you were to purchase one in top spec with 4WD, you’d spend upwards of $95,945 on it before you’d even touch the options list. Fully loaded, it’ll cost you about $99,000 in Platinum trim, but we have a sneaking suspicion that one of those wouldn’t even come close to this particular one.

Dr. Dre took the Escalade ESV and stretched it out even further, while making it taller, adding a custom strut grille and custom wheels (naturally). One source has this thing costing around $200,000, and we wouldn’t be at all surprised if that was true.

Allegedly, Dr. Dre is looking to get chauffeured around in this beast, which we can understand since it’s basically a business office on wheels.

The overall murdered out appearance is common with these types of builds and since this car was modified by Becker Automotive Design, we can use some of their presentation images of the stretched Escalade ESV with the Raised Roof in order for you go have an idea of what it’s like on the inside.

  • Galaxium

interesting time to exercise in that second to last pic

    • čerešnička

      yes excercise 🙂

  • Six_Tymes

talk about excess. all while some people starve

    • Matt

The donor vehicle and the conversion still costs less than your average supercar so what’s your point again?

      • Six_Tymes

        I already made it, READ.

    • Polyester Poontang

Where were the starving people when you coveted the ACR?

      • Six_Tymes

ok fare enough, just seems stupid and over the top, thats all.

        • T_Cake

It’s right there in Deuteronomy. “Thou shalt not covet thy neighbor’s ACR.”

        • HATINERDAY

You seem stupid. What would you expect a successful business owner be driven around in for long periods? Tell us more about what you think.

    • Matt

You know who’s not starving? The families of the workers who made this car.

      • Six_Tymes

        point taken already

        • HATINERDAY

          Six times?

    • trapalizer

oh jesus fucking christ you’re on a car blog not “Internet Humanitarian Bullshitter Dot Com”

      • Polyester Poontang

This is a car blog for car lovers, does that mean we have to be brain dead morons with no class that spends all day flogging the bishop.

        • trapalizer

No human advancement has ever happened with a guy going out on a mission to solve the world hunger and cure diseases.

On the other hand, plenty has been done by those who have went out & made themselves rich out of “greed” in order to afford luxuries in life yet they end up doing something like eradicating malaria.

Yes, just because Bill Gates gives billions away doesn’t mean he doesn’t fly around in a private jet that was originally made to be a commercial plane but converted in similar fashion this Escalade was.

      • Six_Tymes

OK so i drank to much one night, cut me some slack. sorry.

Survival of the fittest some people are meant to starve and die.

  • TheBelltower

Pffft… Unoriginal. Looks like a modern-day conversion van.

  • MarketAndChurch

As far as Limos go, not bad, except for that grille. I think the one thing that would make a really nice addition to this though would be a panoramic roof like the one on the previous generation Maybach. It had like a Japanese design and could go back and forth between being clear, and opaque.

  • rover10

It begs the question, is an SUV based vehicle an ideal base for the ultimate in luxury? Give me plenty of cabin room, over a tightly packaged limo any time.

  • Vassilis

    The interior is just stunning!

  • Vyurr

I rather like that. Seems well thought out without straying in clownish. Like something you’d expect to see on a kitted out gulf stream jet.

  • Jay

    I like it.

  • bonzomatic

    Dre looks old!

    • BlackPegasus

He money probably looks old too.

  • Nikos Kalantas Brother

    Still D:R:E: lol

  • carsmofo

I already forgot about D.r.e. until this article popped up.

  • Petrov Viktor

    exellent car:)

  • Blade t

Are rich people that want to be driven around ,not car people? Because if I had that kind of money ,I still would want to drive myself..I know you can have both, but just seems so boring being driven around..
