Here’s the latest in a long line of sporty Alfa Romeo renders, all of which pointing out just how starved car enthusiasts are for fast Italian cars.

Sure enough, the designer responsible for this digital drawing, Antonio Bonacci, lives in Italy and all he wanted was to add some Alfa Romeo style to a ‘Spider-like’ car. He specifies that this would be the Quadrifoglio version of the hypothetical new Alfa Spider, available with both a four cylinder unit as well as a V6.

Speaking of sporty Alfa Romeos, we’ve seen more than a handful of renderings in the previous year alone. There was the 4C Spider GTA, the next-gen Giulietta Quadrifoglio, the Giulia QV Coupe & DTM plus quite a few others. More recently we were treated to a certain Alfa Romeo Coupe (also drawn up by an Italian designer), but not that many of these renderings featured a convertible.

We’re still in the dark about the new Spider, but this one doesn’t look half bad even if that rear end is a little bit F-Type-ish, isn’t it?

Thanks to Antonio Bonacci for the renders!
