This Is Why A Nissan Skyline R32 GT-R Deserves To Remain Stock

We all know or have heard of how great the GT-R really is, from a performance standpoint, and its tuning potential, but this is a rare chance to see how a bone-stock R32 GT-R really is as a road car.

Millions of words have been written about the sheer brilliance of the Nissan Skyline GT-R but the vast majority of them were about tuned examples.

Now that the R32 generation of the Skyline GT-R has crossed the 25 year mark, you can legally get your hands on one in the USA.

Matt Farrah shows us his own 1990 Nissan Skyline GT-R R32, a beautiful low-mileage stock example that will bring a tear or two to most of us. It may be 26 years old, but this is still one of the fastest road cars you could get in the nineties and as Farrah tells us, it’s a very capable grand-tourer too.

    R32 proves that

    1) JDM fans boys will fall in love with any fast nissan no matter how ugly it is.

    2) a beautiful cars needs only cool proportions (or shape) to be loved ex 2 door coupe, long front, wide tracks, bulges and a few aeros.

    3) petrolheads find beauty in powerful engines and turbos not in design. No wonder we all have ugly women.

Other than the final Nismo edition, I always thought the R34 was the ugliest Skyline by far. It almost had no design, it was just a generic, unimaginatively styled coupe with massive round taillights.

The standard, N/A four-door R34 proves how decidedly awful it was to start with. Of course the drivetrain of the GT-R seems to render the styling irrelevant in the eyes of JDM fans.

Never been a fan of the R34 design either but out of the R32,33,34, the R33 is the nicest in my opinion. Also, is the the same guy that was driving a Datsun converted to a “Ferrari” and claimed it was a real Ferrari?? lol
