This is the real deal, a fire-breathing Group B rally car that actually won the 1985 Rallye Monte-Carlo can be yours for the right price.

Needless to say that this is a very rare and special moment for collectors and rally fans, as this is not only one of the 20 works Evolution 1 cars, but one that’s also driven by Ari Vatanen himself to first position in two races, including the 1985 Swedish Rally.

Powered by a 345hp turbocharged 1.8-litre four-cylinder engine, this Peugeot 205 T16 is  unrestored and in totally original condition, retaining even all the stickers and tires from the day it left Peugeot Talbot Sport 30 years ago.

It’s no wonder that Max Girardo, RM Auctions’ specialist estimates that this piece of automotive history has a good chance in becoming the world’s first Group B rally car to reach the 1 million euros mark in the upcoming Sotheby’s auction in Monaco.
