People’s reactions to being picked up by unexpectedly cool Uber rides have already been well-documented, so why not throw a Bugatti Veyron Grand Sport Vitesse into the mix?

The last Uber prank we saw was this one involving a guy dressed as Batman and a Lamborghini Aventador. While that looked really fun, doing the same thing but in a 1,200 PS car definitely takes the cake.

The Grand Sport Vitesse also packs a whooping 1,500 Nm (1,100 lb-ft) of torque, which were put to good use in scaring/impressing the passengers – one of which even thought to ask “how fast does this go” before getting her question answered promptly by the 8.0-liter W16 quad-turbocharged petrol unit.

None of the three passengers got to experience the car anywhere near its potential, for if they had, they would have hit 100 km/h (62 mph) in 2.6 seconds and an electronically-limited top speed of 375 km/h (233 mph).

Another fun fact was that all three Uber riders were expecting to see a Toyota Previa, which is an MPV – or pretty much the exact opposite of a convertible hypercar.
