Aston Martin and Zagato’s latest project resulted in a stunning looking machine, and this video shows-off the beast in all its might.

The latest Vanquish Zagato Concept shows what happens when a 103-year old car maker collaborates with a 97-year old coachbuilder, gathering both companies’ pedigree in one breathtaking ride.

This is the fifth car to emerge from the collaboration of these two great motoring icons – a partnership which stretches back over five decades. Created by Marek Reichman, Andrea Zagato, and their desing teams, the Vanquish Zagato Concept was engineered at Aston’s headquarters in Gaydon, England.

The vehicle’s lines were crafted from carbon-fiber and feature a wide array of design elements that mirror its makers’ heritage; everything from the double-bubble roof to the wide front grille can be traced to Zagato and Aston Martin’s roots, albeit it has some modern features as well (a retractable spoiler, LED taillights and so on).

The overall form, especially its C-pillar and color is reminiscent of the V12 Zagato – a sports car made by Aston Martin in collaboration with the coachbuilder to celebrate a 50-year partnership since the Aston Martin DB4 GT Zagato.

Powering the concept is a 5.9-liter naturally aspirated V12 engine which pumps out 600 PS (592 HP). You can hear it growl and make a scene (as the concept isn’t constrained by any laws) in the video below, right after you finish reading this sentence.
