With a spacious and modular interior that offers seating for five, the new Renault Megane Estate is scheduled to arrive in French showrooms this summer.

Unveiled at the Geneva Motor Show in March, order books for the French wagon will open in June and customers will get to choose between four equipment levels: Life, Zen, Business and Intens.

The cheapest model will kick off from €19,900 ($22,185), powered by the Energy TCe 100 petrol engine, mated to a manual gearbox, while new Megane Estate GT, equipped with 4Control all-wheel steering and powered by the Energy TCe 205, connected to an EDC dual-clutch transmission, will set you back for at least €32,800 ($36,565).

Sitting at your disposal is another petrol burner, the TCe 130, mated to a seven-speed EDC, along with three diesel units, the dCi 90, dCi 110 and dCi 130, connected to either a six-speed manual or a six-speed EDC, depending on the selected version. Following shortly after the model’s launch will be a fourth diesel powertrain, the dCi 165, mated to a six-speed EDC.

The 2017 Renault Megane Estate has a 580-liter (20.48 cubic feet) boot capacity, boasting the longest load area in the segment, and benefiting from the brand’s Easy Folding system, which allows simple unlocking and automatic folding of the rear seat.
