Remotely Control Your Bentley Bentayga With Apple Watch App

Drivers and passengers of the Bentley Bentayga can now control a selection of in-car systems from their Apple Watch with a new app developed by the automaker.

Available with the SUV‘s Bluetooth connectivity, the iOS smartwatch app allows synchronization with the vehicle’s Touch Screen Remote (TSR), providing remote access to features such as on-board climate control, entertainment, heating, ventilation and massage function on the seats, while monitoring real-time info like the outside temperature, distance traveled and vehicle speed.

“The Bentayga is technologically advanced and combines this with luxury in a way only Bentley can achieve. This new Apple Watch connectivity is another example of how we are constantly innovating in order to enhance the customer experience“, said the Director of Electrical and Electronics at Bentley, Dan Whittaker.

The app is available to download from the App Store and it joins a long list of accessories offered on the Bentayga, including the Mulliner Tourbillon by Breitling mechanical clock, made exclusively for the SUV. It comes in rose or white gold, with a choice of mother-of-pearl or black ebony face, decorated with 8 diamond indexes for a whopping £150,000 ($220,000), or around £10,000 ($14,650) less than the starting price of the SUV in the UK.
