After watching Superman defeat The Hulk a couple of days ago, this time it’s Marvel on Marvel as a Spider-Man themed McLaren 570S takes on a Porsche 911 GT3 with a Deadpool livery.

Judging by their times, both models are stock, which for the McLaren means 570 PS and 600 Nm (442 lb-ft) of torque, putting the 911 GT3 at a disadvantage because of its 476 PS and 440 Nm (324 lb-ft) of torque.

In a straight line, this translates to a 0-100 km/h (62 mph) acceleration time of 3.2 seconds for the McLaren, whereas the Porsche is good for 3.5 seconds and a top speed of 315 km/h (195 mph) to the McLaren’s 328 km/h (203 mph).

It’s precisely the type of difference that would only stand out on a race track or a drag strip, and it just so happens that the latter is present in this video.

The distance they have to cover is just a 1/4 of a mile, which means that their top speed won’t be tested and that that small difference between sprint times may or may not play that big of a role.

In the end, it’s a very close battle, and we could say that trying to guess who won this drag race is a lot easier than debating who would win in a fight between Spider-Man and Deadpool.
