‘Jack Reacher: Never Go Back’ Trailer Shows Tom Cruise Still Doing Car Stunts

If you like to watch Tom Cruise work, you’re probably aware of the fact he enjoys performing his own stunts, especially when they involve riding bikes or driving cars dangerously fast.

His upcoming movie is called ‘Jack Reacher: Never Go Back’, which is of course a follow-up (not necessarily a direct sequel though) to the action-thriller Jack Reacher, which came out back in 2012.

You may remember that in that movie, Cruise got behind the wheel of a blood red 1969 Chevelle SS and drove the wheels off of it, just like he did with that M3 in Mission Impossible: Rogue Nation.

In his new Reacher movie, Cruise is seen driving a Dodge Charger, which seems to be the property of the US Army. Does it mean he’s getting chased by Military Police? It kind of seems that way from the footage.

Also, the trailer only gives us a quick taste of what’s to come, but knowing Cruise, any car chase that goes down in this movie isn’t going to rely much on CGI, if at all.

For the record Jack Reacher drove a 1970 Chevelle, not a 1969. Just saying!

Can’t watch ANYTHING with Tom Cruise in it. The Jack Reacher stories would have been right up my street, but Cruise bought the rights to the films so that he could star in them. The idea of him being a ‘tough guy’ is just so ridiculous. The Jack Reacher series could have made more money (and been far more believable!) had it starred someone with more machismo. The author wasn’t really thinking straight when he sold the rights to pint-sized Cruise…and I say that as someone pint-sized myself!

Plus 1. And one from my wife. She hates him too. Loves the books but hates the films.

      • Jay

You both should just watch them because no-one cares who you like or not, The first one was good and this one looks like it will be too.

P.S. I also hate Tom Cruise lol

Not expecting anyone to care. Just expressing an opinion.

You’ll have to live with that.

          • Jay

yes, just like you’ll have to live with not doing watching a movie starting a person you don’t like for personal reasons. I’m just letting you know you’re missing out lol.

Thanks for your concern. I think I’ll survive….

          • Jay

Even guys like Sly and Arnie stopped putting pretty younger girls in their movies years back. What’s worse is they at least bedded them at the end. Tom is too scared of non-scientology approved cooties to even make out with a girl onscreen.

  • Tumbi Mtika

    I’ll look into this.

  • Six Thousand Times

Too much tough talk. And then, yeah, who buys that Cruise can make good on it? Jason Bourne doesn’t need all that yapping.

  • psiqtas

Another Mopar product placement but at least semms that no stupid F.I.A.T.s or Alfas this time…

Well, that looks terrible. I imagine he sits on a booster seat when he drives, so he can see over the dash.
