Mopar Launches Limited Edition ’16 Ram Rebel, Priced From $52,460

This latest limited-edition vehicle from Ram Trucks & Mopar has been put together using only Mopar Custom Shop performance parts and accessories.

It will feature a limited production run of 500 vehicles, each equipped with 17″ satin black wheels, a black front bumper skid plate, wheel flares, special Mopar graphics and a couple of other, dealer-installed products such as the cat-back exhaust and cold air intake.

“We are excited to team up with our friends at the Ram Truck brand to offer the first limited-edition Mopar vehicle for full-size truck enthusiasts,” stated Mopar chief Pietro Gorlier. “The already formidable Ram 1500 Rebel is a perfect canvas for unique Mopar accessories and performance parts developed to reinforce the rugged personality of the Rebel.”

Based on the Ram 1500 4×4 Rebel Crew Cab, the Moper ’16 Ram Rebel also marks the first limited-edition Mopar-modded vehicle in this particular segment, as previous builds have only featured the likes of the Challenger, Charger, 300 and the Dart. The truck is available in only two color options, namely Flame Red/Brilliant Black two-tone and Brilliant Black monotone.

“The new Ram Rebel has been a solid addition to the Ram lineup, providing customers with a truck that can deliver the added capability that their active lifestyles demand,” added Mike Manley, head of Ram brand. “The Mopar ’16 content illustrates how customers can easily personalize a Ram truck with factory backed accessories.”

Aside from the previously mentioned styling and practicality upgrades, customers can also add an aluminum, dual bezel sport performance hood and door sill guards, while upon delivery, the customer will also receive an owner’s kit featuring Mopar ’16 merchandise.
